The 123\SmartBMS gen3 just got a new hardware update. The white connectors, used for intercommunication and for the relays, have been replaced with tougher ones.
The new connectors feature quick-release buttons to easily remove wires from the connector – no need for the metal key, anymore! This means that the metal key will not be included in the 123\SmartBMS set from now on.
A second advantage of the new connector is that it can handle larger wire diameters, from 0.2mm2 up to 1.5mm2. The larger maximum wire diameter adds the possibility to use ferrules on flex wire.
